The lisa疯马秀 publication聽If I Had An Old House On The East Coast聽clearly struck a nerve with鈥攕ome of whom definitely do have an old house on this here coast. [Author] Wanda Baxter鈥檚 was built on the south shore in 1783. 鈥淚t鈥檚 as old as Lunenburg,鈥 she says. 鈥淚t鈥檚 really something to have an old house鈥擨鈥檓 just totally in love with the whole thing. It鈥檚 just hard to get away from ever, thinking of the work that鈥檚 gone before.鈥 The book is illustrated by Kat Frick Miller鈥檚 gentle, realist paintings, a collaboration that began with the tome鈥檚 conception. 鈥淚鈥檓 just really glad people like it,鈥 says Baxter. 鈥淚t does seem to be resonating. I think it鈥檚 hit a certain nerve. And people really love Kat.鈥
